About Jennifer
In my previous career, I worked in Education as a teacher in a variety of different settings.
After having had difficult times in my own life involving anxiety, stress, grief, miscarriages and life transitions, I had Counselling at different points which helped me to process and change things to help me to thrive once again.
Having experienced being a client, the most important quality for me was warmth, empathy and understanding. Therefore, I aim to ensure that each and every client, regardless of age, gender, culture or background feel welcome and able to talk freely without interruption. As much as I would like to be able to wave a magic wand, I cannot. However, I can listen and help you to think about and see things differently. I can hep you to understand why you think the way you do, why you behave in certain situations and ultimately, why you are having difficulties in the present moment. Above all, I believe that everyone has the strength to change and I am fully committed to helping each client to achieve their goals.
I am an accredited member of The National Counselling Society and am bound by their Code of Ethics. Please feel free to look at my profile pages on The National Counselling Website , Counselling Directory or Psychology Today for more information.
