JP Counselling & Hypnotherapy

About Jennifer

I qualified as a Counsellor in February 2019 after changing career in 2016.

In my previous career, I worked in Education as a teacher in a variety of different settings.

After having had difficult times in my own life involving anxiety, stress, grief, miscarriages and life transitions, I discovered Counselling at different points which helped me to process events and move forward with my life.

It is very important to me that my clients feel warmly welcomed, safe and supported throughout their journey of self discovery. Therefore, I aim to ensure that each and every client, regardless of age, gender, culture or background can feel at ease and subsequently able to talk freely about their experiences.

The Counselling Process I offer is interactive and whilst I will listen to you and help you to think and see things differently, I will also encourage you to ask yourself deeper questions to gain a better understanding of yourself.

I can help you to understand why you think the way you do, why you react in certain situations and ultimately, why you are having difficulties in the present moment. Above all, I believe that everyone has the strength to change and I am fully committed to helping each client to achieve their goals.

I am an accredited member of The National Counselling Society and am bound by their Code of Ethics. Please feel free to look at my profile pages on The National Counselling Website, Counselling Directory or Psychology Today for more information.
